Workers'
Compensation benefits include:
- Compensation
of up to 2/3 of your weekly salary (tax free) up to a maximum of $400
per week for the time you have missed from work.
- Full medical
coverage for all treatment related to the on the job injury or illness
with no deductibles or copays.
- Reimbursement
for all out of pocket expenses including transportation to and from
your doctor's office.
- Possible
cash awards for permanent impairment to extremities, regardless of whether
or not you lose any time from work.
- If you
return to work and suffer reduced earnings due to your work related
injury you may be entitled to the difference between past and present
earnings. Even if you return to work with no loss of earnings you are
entitled to continuing medical treatment if necessary.
